Design
As aircraft
technology has developed we have seen the role of pilots change to one of
systems management rather than raw flying talent. The new role demands
greater emphasis on the ability to understand system operations and
control.
Traditional
training systems have for the most part not kept up with the changes in
aircraft technology. Greater understanding of the learning process and
improved teaching techniques, have evolved to provide a more complex “tool
box” to more effectively and efficiently deliver training.
The design our
training begins with providing the necessary information in a concise and
standardized way. This information is then turned to knowledge by allowing
the student to use the information in a meaningful way.
Once a sound
knowledge base is developed cognitive and motor skills associated with the
knowledge can be practiced to proficiency.
Training needs to
be enjoyable as well as informative. Our program is designed to be both.
Our integrated program allows the student to move from introduction of a
topic, through understanding to the required proficiency efficiently and
effectively.
At the same time,
our program is designed to make learning an enjoyable experience. With
content focused on “need to know” information, the highly interactive
learning environment provides the student with the feedback he needs to
learn quickly and understand fully.
Technology
The application
of technology within a training system is not simply purchasing a new
training aid but integrating it into the training system so that the maximum
benefit can be realized by the student.
Our training aids
such as Virtual Simulation or VSIM, Flight Management System Trainer or FMST
and Integrated Procedures Trainer or IPT are all based on the same core
program which runs the Full Flight Simulator.
Exact in every
way we are able to use this technology to deliver the information correctly
the first time. The student is able to interface with the simulation the
same way he will with the aircraft.
Technology also
helps us manage the training environment to insure that training is done in
the right way and on time. Not only do we track direct student activity but
many other aspects of how the students function with the training
environment are monitored.
This continuous
feedback from the system is used to make changes to the system dynamically
so that we are always providing the best training possible for our clients.
Methodology
The right content
together with the right technology are blended in a unique delivery
methodology which continually challenges the student to improve.
Focused on
turning information into knowledge in a standardized way, our method of
instruction is aimed at optimizing the learning experience for the adult
learner. Using his new knowledge in a work like environment immediately,
insures that he gets the most from the experience.
Our
methodology increases transfer of training from one training phase to
another. This reduces attrition and remediation reducing the cost of
training for our clients.

Training
Management Overview
To provide high
quality training management,to our clients, we introduced the Pelesys Learning
Management System (Pelesys LMS). This web-based learning management
system.delivers courses online, keeps track of and manages courses, users,
course enrollments, and user learning records.
The LMS is a
user-friendly system that allows Instructors, Administrators and Management to
be in full control of how training is delivered to our students. Following
strict AICC guidelines the LMS will track student progress, provide time on task
and task completion at all levels of learning The LMS is a complete learning
management and delivery system that allows seamless integration with web-based
courseware from any content supplier. The LMS is designed specifically for the
corporate training needs of the aviation industry and for the flexibility of
Internet-delivered electronic learning.
Together with
the LMS is an Examination Generation System (EGS) which automatically generates
examinations using a database of questions. The EGS can be modified to use
questions at random, pre-selected questions or a variation of the two. The
system tracks student progress at the question level allowing him to track
completed and in complete questions as well provide time remaining. The
reporting function allows the questions database to be audited easily and often
to insure that questions are always being updated to insure Optimum results.
Course Options
